2016 has been our 5th year of trading and it’s been quite a year.
Against a backdrop of fluctuating global markets and unprecedented political change we have continued to grow, have entered new markets and for the first time have begun to develop our own products.
Over the past 5 years we have built a product range we are proud of, have successfully delivered a variety of complex solutions and have recruited some of the best in the business.
While there is no doubt that 2017 will bring more change, both political and in the markets, as 2016 draws to a close we are full of optimism, because after all, with change comes opportunity.
For us at Flotech, the New Year has a number of milestones in store. We will be releasing our own range of new additive injection products, extending our portfolio of site services and unveiling new strategic manufacturing partnerships which will allow us to support our customer base better than ever before. In support of this, we will be rolling out a new website which will truly reflect the strength and depth we have worked so hard to build.
So as we close the door on another year we would like to thank all of our customers, partners and suppliers for their fantastic support in 2016 and we wish you all a Happy, Healthy and Prosperous 2017.
Each year we nominate a charity to be the recipient of funds raised through our various charitable efforts. In 2017 this will include the proceeds from of our Christmas eCard campaign, the money raised during the Worthing Half Marathon and all other events we run throughout the year.
Having recently lost one of our former colleagues to cancer, we have chosen the Hampshire based Rowans Hospice as our nominated charity for 2017.
Rowans Hospice supports patients and their families through the journey of their illness and provides specialist end of life care.
During 2017 we will be looking for new ways to raise funds and welcome any input and suggestions from our customers, suppliers and partners.
If you use API Couplers you will know that they all suffer from the same problem, a problem that until now operators have grown to accept. Each time you uncouple, the small amount of product which is lost during poppet closure sits in the collar of the coupler. As the coupler is withdrawn and stowed, this product drips from the coupler onto the ground between tanker and gantry creating a slippery and unsafe working area. Until now, this has been commonly accepted as par for the course.
The J0452 with Integrated Pump overcomes this problem through some very clever design. Each time you uncouple, surplus product is drawn from the face of the coupler, through a filter and into a an integrated chamber. The next time you attached the coupler, the contents of the chamber are ejected back into the line. A simple and effective solution to a common problem.
