Bottom loading is one of the most common methods used to transfer product into road or rail tankers. Since bottom loading takes place on the ground it is inherently safer for the operator than top loading. In addition, less static electricity is generated than through top loading, allowing for faster and more efficient loading. In the case of modern fuel terminals, multiple compartments of road tankers can be filled at the same time.
E2033 Bottom Transfer Loading Arm
The E2033 Bottom Transfer Loader offers an extended reach which makes them ideal for applications where a vehicle cannot be accurately spotted.
The spring cylinder balance has up to 95 degrees of vertical movement which makes handling easier and reduces the footprint of the arm when parked.
Easy to adjust, super smooth action spring cylinder balance, and heavy duty capacity swivel joints enable these arms to reach further without the need for additional support. Standard arms feature the D2000 World Series swivel joint.
E2123 MYR Link Arm
The E2123 MYR Link Arm can be built to reach over 12 feet in length yet still park in the near vertical position. Standard arms feature the D2000 Swivel Joint for ultra-low maintenance and easy to adjust spring balance. The E2123 is not recommended where multiple arm cross-over is required.
E2304 Bottom Spring Loader
The E2304 Bottom Spring Loader is designed for the bottom loading and unloading of road or rail tankers via a 4“ API coupler. The loading arm dimensions are designed to give coverage of the entire API connection envelope.
Reliable and well proven components include D2000 swivel joints, easy to adjust smooth action spring cylinder balance and high quality composite rubber or stainless steel braded hose. The features combined make the E2304 easy and lightweight to operate.
E2386 Bottom Loading Station
The E2386 loading arm is designed to load products where vapour return is necessary. It is suitable for the bottom loading/unloading of road or rail tankers with either flange connection or coupling. These loading arms have a long reach and are suitable for applications where the tanker connection flange cannot be accurately positioned.
When accessories such as couplers and breakaway couplers are used, the loading arm can be designed in a 6 swivel configuration with parallel bar and gas spring for balancing the additional weight.
High quality swivel joints and precise loading arm balancing make the E2386 very easy to handle.
E2824 to E2839 Standard Bottom Loading Arms
This type of loading arm is designed to load mineral oil or chemical products and is suitable for the bottom loading/unloading of road or rail tankers.
The loading arm has a long reach and is suitable for applications where the tanker connection flange cannot be accurately positioned.
High quality swivel joints and precise loading arm balancing make the E2824/E2839 very easy to handle.
E2852 and E2701 Bottom Hose Loading Station
The E2852 / E2701 Bottom Hose Loading Stations enable efficient loading of tank trucks with simultaneous loading of up to five products plus a vapour arm. The Arms are designed to enable a totally flexible operation with unrestricted cross-over of arms.
The carbon steel swivel joint used on these arms has a flame hardened ball race way to ensure a long service life and easy to adjust. Super smooth action spring cylinder balance and heavy duty construction provide these arms with extended reach without the need for additional support.
LNG Bottom Loading Arm
The Emco Wheaton LNG bottom loading arm is designed specifically for LNG and is suitable for the bottom loading / unloading of road or rail tankers. The loading arm has a long reach and is suitable for applications where tanker connection flange cannot be accurately positioned.
Robust and high quality swivel joints combined with precise loading arm balancing make handling effortless. The design of the stainless steel swivel joints is based upon the reliable D2000 which is equipped with an interchangeable bearing module.
The primary and secondary product seal enable the operator to monitor leakage during the whole operating time of the loading arm. The swivel joints on the Emco Wheaton LNG arm are designed to meet the requirements of the OCIMF and the ball raceway can be purged with dry gas if required.
WE2852 World Bottom Hose Loader
Our WE2852 World Bottom Hose Loader is designed for the bottom loading and unloading of road or rail tankers with all types of fuel. Tanker side connection is achieved with a 4“ API coupler. The loading arm dimensions are designed to give coverage of the entire API connection area.
A bottom loading station can consist out of up to 5 product arms – the WE2852 is designed to allow unrestricted cross over of all arms when used in this application. The WE2852 features carbon steel swivel joint with flame hardened ball race and smooth action spring cylinder balances.
E2313 A-Frame Bottom Loader
The E2313 A-Frame Bottom Loader offers the advantages of easy handling and long reach which make it possible to use it for servicing both sides of a platform. The secondary section of the A-Frame is available as a rigid pipe or hose depending upon the application.
The A-Frame features the D2000 swivel joint as standard for ultra-low maintenance and an easy to adjust spring cylinder balance for ease of operation.
E2573 Counterweight Bottom Hose Loader
The E2573 is designed specifically for tank truck bottom loading in accordance with API Recommended Practice 1004. Counterweight balancing and close centre mounting make the E2573 easy to handle.
E2573 is particularly suitable for applications where crossover of three or more products is required and its unique sliding scale weight allows arm to balance in the horizontal position.
D2000 swivel joint as standard make for ultra-low maintenance. Counter weight balance design is durable, cost effective and easy to adjust and operate.
